Mathematics Degree Online

Is getting a degree online a good idea?

I am debating getting a teaching credential. Currently I am living in Asia. It would convenient for me to do it online and remain in Asia. I am thinking it would be better to be in the traditional classroom though. What do you think? By the way I already have a BA degree. Also, would you say, the teaching sector is good to be in these days or not? I am considering teaching Mathematics. Thanks

1. No... I think it's better to do it the old-fashioned way....
2. Teaching is a great field right now, depending on where you want to be. Most U.S. states (like California) are in need of qualified teachers and pay (over the long term) can be good. But...do not get your degree online. The traditional way is the traditional way for a lot of silly reasons but often powerful ones. Before you proceed, decide on the grade level you want to teach and on the state youo want to teach in. Finding the right program becomes much easier then.
